Don't Panic

The Don’t Panic training film has been produced to ensure that all staff know the correct procedures to follow when the fire alarm sounds and before the fire brigade arrives.

Anyone who has experienced a fire, however small, will know just how frightening it can be, particularly if you are responsible for the care and well being of others.

Two of the key reasons which cause deaths and injuries in fire are ‘panic’ and ‘staff not knowing the correct procedures to follow’. Control of fire is dependent upon training in advance.

Don’t Panic is designed and written particularly for the owners and staff in residential establishments of all kinds including care homes, small hospitals, guest houses and hotels – but the rules apply equally to all educational institutions and commercial offices.

The Don’t Panic training package, which has been written by experts, contains a 25 minute film in video and DVD format, together with a manager’s guide and staff training booklet.
